TOURS OF Culham
We are delighted to offer tours of the UK Atomic Energy Authority as part of your SOFE conference experience.
There will be four tours:
- All include a tour of JET and MAST Upgrade
- Two will visit Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE)
- Two will visit the Materials Research Facility (MRF)
Please check carefully that the tour you wish to join visits the facilities you would like to see. Friday tours are longer as they include presentations from private fusion companies that will be building facilities on UKAEA’s Culham Campus.
All tours will depart and return to Oxford by coach, picking up and dropping off delegates close to the conference venue. To go on the tour you must have a conference pass and a form of photo ID (passport, driving licence). For security reasons no-one can go on the tour, if they have not travelled to the Culham Campus on the coach.
